Cavallino is the journal of Ferrari history, covering Ferraris old and new for over 40 years. It's the most reliable, most trusted source of everything Ferrari. Ever since the first issue in 1978 Cavallino presents extensive stories and detailed information from knowledgeable experts and enthusiasts who share the passion for Ferrari. All Ferraris are unique, and each one has its own chassis serial number. This is how the Ferrari world keeps track of all the great cars. Cavallino is the only publication that prints the serial number for every Ferrari mentioned in our stories, articles, and race results.

Impressario Bill Warner always comes up with ingenious classes for his annual Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance, mixing and matching the obvious with the unusual and unexpected. Ferraris don't fit in with amny of these inventions but they have a presence nonetheless.

A dozen rare and desirable Ferrari took part in a recent event named the "Spirit of Yves Classic Run". This private rally, starting in Monaco and crossing the North of Italy, gathered around thirty of the most beautiful classic cars in the world.

The Ferrari 400 Superamerica, chassis s/n 2809 SA, is a 1961 SWB (2420 mm) coupé, which was provided with a full aluminium body, rather than the usual steel body, and the original covered headlight configuration. Thus, the combination of the SWB chassis, an all aluminium body and covered headlights, make it arguably the most desirable variant of the model.

The classic car world in general, and the Ferrari community in particular, lost a true giant on March 11 with the passing of Wayne Obry, age 62. Wayne was acknowledged to be one of the world's ranking experts on the Ferrari automobile, which he proved with each Ferrari that his shop finished.

Ted made his mark as a succesful businessman dealing in Ferrari parts, everthing from gear shift knobs and valve cover gaskets to crankshafts and connecting rods. He got his start in 1978 at the Atlanta area Ferrari dealer, FAF Motorcars, then located in Tucker, Georgia.

The 12 Hours of Sebring is special to the Ferrari tifosi. 2016 marked the 60th anniversary of Eugenio Castellotti and Juan Manuel Fangio driving their Ferrari 860 Monza, s/n 0604 M, to victory in the twelve hour endurance race. It was Ferrari's first victory over Sebring's rugged runways.
